Being the city that never sleeps, happy hour is the best way to start the night in NYC. With a constant barrage of tourists, navigating bars can be a task in itself. Coming off a long day in the office, you want to drink like a local. Here's a list of our favorite happy hours in the city.

With a happy hour from 4-7 everyday, this is the perfect happy hour spot if you're looking for Mexican inspired food and drink. With $6 margaritas, even the dead of winter can feel like you're on vacation. If you're looking for some snacks to go with your margarita, make sure not to miss the Agave guacamole, Empanaditas, and Elote. Depending on your energy, these dishes are the perfect way to end the day or start the night.

This casual Mexican spot has a weekly happy hour from 3-7 PM. A half pint of their classic margarita is only $4, and flavored margaritas are $6. If you're not in the mood for a margarita, they also have red or white sangria for $3.50. Don't miss the happy hour bites while you're here. A margarita pairs perfectly with chicken flautas, mini chicken quesadillas, fried pickles, or tostadas.

If you're up in Harlem, Mess Hall has a daily happy hour from 4-7 PM. You're going to have a good night out with $6 can and shot specials, and $5 picklebacks.
