San Francisco is known for more than its fog; it is also known for the incredible food you can find all over the city. The Financial District may be home to incredible businesses and fantastic views, but its food cannot be beaten.
Whether you are in between meetings, looking to grab a drink and a bite after work, or seeking to show off the city, there is a restaurant for you.
With a city as large as San Francisco, it is easy to be overwhelmed with options. The city has every type of food under the sun, and some of the best are in the Financial District. We have rounded up some of our favorite spots in the district that you cannot miss. The best thing? They are local to Servcorp's Financial District location so you can walk to most of these restaurants from the office.
88 Hardie Place

At Homage, you have to think local. They pay homage to California and the city through their ever-changing, seasonal menu. Everything on the menu is thoughtful and purposeful beginning with their breakfast menu, which includes an egg sandwich with chorizo and a breakfast toast with fresh ricotta and honey that's the perfect way to kickstart your day. A highlight of their lunch menu is their summer short rib sandwich with smoky stone fruit BBQ sauce and an apple and charred celery slaw. If you are looking for a refreshing drink, look no further than their market soda, with Perucchi Blanc vermouth, morning market fruit, and Cremant de Limoux. You cannot miss this spot if you are in the city.

What do you do if you are craving sushi and a burrito? Well, Sushirrito has you covered. Don't expect just some average spicy tuna in seaweed, as Sushirrito changes the game with their menu. Their Mayan Dragon is something else with Crispy Chicken Katsu, Purple Potatoes, Julienne Carrots, Pickled Red Cabbage, Ginger Guac, Shaved Jalapenos, and Curry Mole. If you want something more reminiscent of traditional sushi, check out the Satori with Hiramasa Yellowtail, Cucumber, Pickled Red Onion, Sweet Corn, Ginger Guac, Red Tobiko, and Wasabi Mayo. This spot is perfect for sunny days in the city when you want to get out of the office. Just be careful of the lunch rush!

If you are a Food Network fan, you are going to love Wayfare Tavern. Tyler Florence's restaurant in the heart of the Financial District is the perfect escape from the hustle of the city. Although their menu is not huge, everything is beyond incredible. You cannot go wrong with their burrata and peaches, or the steak tartare. They elevate these dishes to an unparalleled level. Their buttermilk fried chicken was ranked as the best in America by Food and Wine magazine, and who can say no to that? Their extensive wine and beer list is tempting, but if you are looking for a great cocktail, order the Cactus Flower with Don Julio Reposado, Belle de Brillet, ginger, honey, and lemon.
You cannot beat working out of San Francisco, especially when Servcorp has such great options in the city. Whether you are visiting or a full-time resident, don't miss these spots in the Financial District!
